Here's a first draft of the type of e-Learning tutorial I mentioned in my most recent blog post: JotToolsVideoTutorial.
I decided to start off with a video companion to JotToolsTutorial because there's been a lot of interest in developing offline in eclipse (or your favorite text editor), and based on the comments on the existing tutorial page and other conversations, there's a fair about of confusion about the benefits and details of working this way.
Disclaimer: I'm just getting used to the tools (Articulate and Camtasia), so the audio levels are a little off and my narration occasionally sounds like a stoned monkey. I want to get the info out there and get comments on the basic format before applying too much spit and polish.
On that note, and to address some of the comments on my last post, I don't ever expect these things to get too fancy production-wise. They're NOT a replacement for up to date documentation!
Instead, our goal is to enhance the current text tutorials with more a immediate, digestible, nuanced presentation. New Jot developers in particular benefit from the additional context and detail brought by a human voice and animated screenshots.
So thanks for the suggestions and comments on the raw material that will drive the production of these. Please keep them coming.

That was nice. Seems like it would be helpful.
On the app.properties section, aren't there more .properties files than that you have to set in .project file or something? Plus don't you have to set some properties in the ja_shared application too?
How does it work with real apps? For example, your ja_scott_app was named ScottAntTestApp?-1.0.zip when packaged. But if that is not the name you want, what do you do? The CustomTheme? application doesn't include "App" in the name, and the BlogApp? application doesn't include "-1.0" in the name so what do you do about that. I also had trouble getting the process to work if the App didn't have _index files. For example, If you download the BlogApp? it doesn't come with _index files so the build fails even though it does actually copy the files.
